Sewing Instructions
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
- Interface the pieces with fusible interlining.
- On the skirt panels, create inverted pleats. Stitch the pleats for 7 cm from the top edge.
- Stitch the skirt to the yoke, press seam allowances upwards and overlock.
- Overlock the left side edges separately. Stitch the left side seam from the zipper mark to the bottom, press seam allowances open, pressing the slit for the zipper. Insert the zipper. Stitch the right side seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Stitch the right side seam of the inner yokes, press seam allowances open. Overlock the bottom edge. Place the yoke and skirt right sides together and stitch the top edge. Topstitch the seam allowances to the inner yoke 0.2 cm from the stitching line. Fold the facings to the wrong side, press. Topstitch the inner yoke into the seam of the outer yoke attachment. Sew the seam allowances to the zipper tape.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the skirt, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
