  • From fusible interfacing:

  • From knit lining:
    • Pocket lining – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Reinforce details with fusible interfacing.
  2. Stitch the center back seam, press seam allowances to the left side, serge.
  3. Stitch the darts on the front, press the dart folds upwards.
  4. Mark the pocket placement on the front. Cut the pocket opening in the middle between the marked lines. At a distance of 1-1.5 cm from the end of the pocket, make slanted cuts. Press seam allowances to the wrong side. Place the zipper under the edges of the pocket opening so that the teeth are visible. Stitch the zipper, sewing from the right side. Place the lower front right side down onto the wrong side of the pocket bag and secure along the center, upper, and side edges.
  5. Stitch shoulder seams. Serge seam allowances and press towards the back.
  6. Stitch the outer collar stand to the neckline of the front and back. Clip seam allowances and press towards the collar stand.
  7. Attach the yoke with the collar stand to the front. Serge seam allowances and press towards the yoke.
  8. Stitch the lower and upper front parts. Serge seam allowances and press upwards.
  9. Attach the side to the front and back. Serge seam allowances and press towards the center back and center front respectively.
  10. Stitch shoulder seams of facings and neckline facing, press seam allowances open. Serge the outer edge. Stitch the inner collar stand to the neckline of the facings and neckline facing, clipping the corner of the facing. Clip seam allowances and press towards the collar stand.
  11. Place the facings and neckline facing right side down onto the right side of the garment and stitch the front edges, the upper edge of the collar stand, and the lower corners, inserting the zipper between the details. Clip seam allowances, trim corners, turn to the right side and press. Attach the neckline facing to the shoulder seams. Topstitch along the zipper.
  12. Serge the hem allowance of the garment and sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
