• From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: one-piece facings for right and left FRONT PANELS, BACK PANEL neckline FACING, COLLAR.

ATTENTION: FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL LINING pieces are cut without considering the width of the facings and the BACK PANEL neckline FACING, respectively.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse the one-piece facings of the left and right FRONT PANELS, the COLLAR, and the BACK PANEL neckline FACING with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
2. Stitch the upper edges of the SLEEVES. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
3. Fold COLLAR pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour and short sides. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves, trim corners. Turn the COLLAR right side out and press. Baste the COLLAR into the neckline: from the edge of the right FRONT PANEL to the center line of the left FRONT PANEL.
4. Attach the gusset to the BACK PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Attach the gusset to the FRONT PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
5. Press the one-piece facings to the wrong side of the FRONT PANELS. Stitch the shoulder edges of the facings and the FACING. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Fold the facings with the cape right sides together and stitch the neckline, simultaneously attaching the COLLAR. Stitch the LINING pieces together, leaving an opening in the right SLEEVE shoulder seam for subsequent turning. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES. Attach the LINING to the facings and the neckline FACING. Stitch the bottom corner. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves, trim corners. Mark and press the hem of the cape and SLEEVES to the wrong side. Stitch the hem of the SLEEVE and the garment with the LINING. Turn the cape right side out, baste and press. Close the technical opening.
6. On the right FRONT PANEL, make a buttonhole; on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on a button.
