    • Cuff – 2 pieces
    • Collar stand – 4 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:

Sewing Instructions

  1. Interface the designated pieces with fusible interfacing.
  2. Stitch the darts on the front piece; press the dart allowances upwards.
  3. Stitch the shoulder seams; press the allowances towards the back and serge.
  4. Serge the lower edges of the inner collar stands. Place the collar stand pieces in pairs, right sides together, and stitch along the upper and front edges (start or end the stitching precisely at the marked attachment line). Clip the allowances, trim corners, turn the collar stands right side out, shape, and press.
  5. Attach the outer collar stands to the neckline; press the allowances towards the collar stands.
  6. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the hem; press the allowances open. Insert the zipper, starting from the upper edge of the collar stand, folding back the inner collar stand. Fold the short allowances of the inner collar stand inwards and stitch them to the zipper tape. Topstitch the inner collar stand into the seam of the outer collar stand attachment.
  7. Stitch the side seams; press the allowances towards the back and serge.
  8. Stitch the sleeve seam; press the allowances towards the back and serge.
  9. Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching notches; press the allowances and serge.
  10. Stitch the cuff into a loop; press the allowances open. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half, right side out, and press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the bottom of the sleeve; press the allowances towards the sleeve. Fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch it into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
  11. Press the hem allowance of the garment 1 cm to the wrong side, then another 1 cm, and topstitch.
