Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing, invisible zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details).

  • Front neckline facing - 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing - 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Front neckline facing - 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing - 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Interface the details with fusible interfacing.
2. Stitch the darts on the back, press the seam allowances towards the center.
3. Finish the raw edges of the center back separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom, press the seam allowances open. Insert the invisible zipper.
4. Stitch the darts on the front pieces according to the markings, press the seam allowances of the outer darts towards the side seams, and the seam allowance of the middle dart to the left side.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams, press the seam allowances towards the back and finish the raw edges.
6. Stitch the shoulder seams of the back and front neckline facings, press the seam allowances open. Finish the outer edge. Place the facings with the garment right sides together and stitch the neckline edge of the back and front. Clip the seam allowances at curves, turn the facing to the wrong side, straighten, and press. Secure to the garment at the shoulder seams and zipper tape.
7. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 5 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch. Clip the seam allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
8. Stitch the side seams, press the seam allowances towards the back and finish the raw edges.
9. Finish the raw edge of the hem, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
