Cutter's Must
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
- From main fabric:
- Back - 1 piece on fold
- Front - 1 piece on fold
- Back Yoke – 1 piece
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
- Back Neckline Facing – 1 piece
- Front Neckline Facing – 1 piece
- From fusible interfacing:
- Back Neckline Facing – 1 piece
- Front Neckline Facing – 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Attach the yoke to the back, press seam allowances upwards and overlock.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Stitch shoulder seams of the back and front neckline facings, press seam allowances open. Overlock the outer edge. Place facings right sides together with the garment and stitch the neckline edge of the back and front. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn facing to the wrong side, smooth out, and press. Secure to the garment at the shoulder seams.
- Overlock the sleeve hem allowance, fold to the wrong side and topstitch. Along the sleeve cap between the marks, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches, press seam allowances and overlock.
- Overlock the blouse hem allowance, press to the wrong side and topstitch. The model is recommended to be worn with a belt.
