Sewing Instructions
WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- Stitch bust darts. Press seam allowances upwards.
- Overlock the outer edges of the front pieces and the lower edges of the sleeves with a narrow rolled hem.
- Place the upper left front piece wrong side onto the right side of the lower left front piece, secure them together. Place the upper right front piece wrong side onto the right side of the lower right front piece, secure them together. Place the right front piece over the left, aligning the center line, and secure along the edges. Continue to treat as one piece. Place the upper sleeve wrong side onto the right side of the lower sleeve, secure along the edges and continue to treat as one piece.
- Attach sleeves to the back and front, press seam allowances towards the sleeve and overlock.
- Stitch side seams and sleeve seams in one continuous line (the side seam of the back is longer than the side seam of the front by the width of the hem allowance), press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Cut a bias binding from main fabric 1, 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the neckline edge on the wrong! side, leaving tails, and stitch. Fold the binding to the right! side, clip the seams, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam. Alternatively, you can bind the neckline with bias binding. In this case, the seam allowances at the necklines of the back and front pieces and the upper edges of the sleeves should be trimmed to 0 cm.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the back, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
