Fabric recommendations: medium-stretch knit fabric made from natural or blended fibers, knit lace fabric. YOU ALSO NEED: knit fusible interfacing, 5 buttons.
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve hem – 1.5 cm, Top allowance for the front panel insert – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can range from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

- Front - 1 piece on fold
- Sleeve - 2 pieces
- Neckline facing - 2 pieces
- Placket - 2 pieces
- From lace:
- Lace - 1 piece on fold
- From fusible interfacing:
- Neckline facing - 1 piece
- Placket - 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Press the placket pieces lengthwise in half, right sides out. Stitch the plackets to the right side of the lace. Clip the lace allowance at the corners, stopping 0.1 cm from the stitching line. Tuck the ends of the plackets inwards, overlapping the right placket over the left, and stitch, securing the bottom edge. Overlock the allowances.
- Overlock the top edge of the insert. Fold the allowance inwards and topstitch. Lay the lace over the insert, secure along the bottom shaped edge, and then treat as one piece.
- Stitch the lace into the front panel piece. Clip the allowances, press open, and overlock.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Fold the facing pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked neckline seam line. Clip the allowances at curves, turn the facings right side out, and press.
- Stitch the outer part of the facing to the neckline, press allowances towards the facing. Turn under the raw edge of the inner stand and topstitch into the stitching line.
- Overlock the allowance of the sleeve hem, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and overlock. Set the sleeves into the armholes, press allowances and overlock.
- Overlock the allowance of the garment hem, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Sew buttons onto the plackets, securing them together.
