FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; 4 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back - 1 piece on fold
    • Front – 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Front facing — 2 pieces
    • Back neckline facing — 1 piece
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Front facing — 2 pieces
    • Back neckline facing — 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the corresponding pieces.
  2. Stitch darts on the front pieces, trim seam allowances with an overlocker and press towards the center.
  3. Stitch darts on the back. Press seam allowances towards the center.
  4. Stitch the collar seam, folding the front pieces right sides together, press seam allowances open. Stitch and press open shoulder seams, overcast seam allowances. Clip the shoulder seam allowance on the front piece and attach the collar to the back neckline, press seam allowances towards the collar.
  5. Stitch, clip at the corner, and press open the shoulder edges of the back neckline facing and front facing. Stitch the collar edge, press seam allowances open. Attach the collar to the facing neckline, press seam allowances open. Overcast the outer edge of the front facings and facing.
  6. Place the front facings and facing with the front piece right sides together and stitch the front edge, neckline, and bottom corner. Trim seam allowances at corners, clip on curves. Turn the front edges to the right side, straighten seams, press. Secure the collar attachment seam allowances together.
  7. Stitch side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
  8. Along the sleeve cap, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the sleeve seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast. Set sleeves into armholes, press and overcast seam allowances.
  9. Overcast the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  10. Overcast buttonholes on the right front piece. Sew buttons onto the left front edge.
