Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; concealed zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for the garment bottom and sleeve – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! Attention! Before cutting, make sure that the lower front piece fits across the width.

• From main fabric:
  • Center back piece - 2 pieces
  • Side back piece - 2 pieces
  • Lower back piece - 2 pieces
  • Center front piece – 2 pieces
  • Side front piece - 2 pieces
  • Lower front piece – 1 piece on fold
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Collar – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Collar — 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch the center back seams on the upper and lower pieces. Finish the allowances and press them to the left side.
3. Stitch the shoulder seams of the upper center pieces. Finish the allowances and press them towards the back.
4. Fold the collar pieces right sides together and stitch the outer edge, starting the seam strictly at the marked collar attachment line. Clip the allowances, turn right side out, and press. Attach the upper collar to the neckline. Fold the allowance of the lower collar inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam.
5. Overlap the right center front piece onto the left, aligning the center lines and the curved edges.
6. Stitch the shoulder seams of the side front and back pieces. Finish the allowances and press them towards the back. Attach the side front and back pieces to the center pieces. Finish the allowances and press them towards the center.
7. Attach the lower parts of the dress to the upper parts. Finish the allowances and press them upwards.
8. Stitch the left side seam from the armhole to the upper mark and from the second mark to the bottom. Press the allowances open. Insert the zipper. Stitch the right side seam, press the allowances towards the back and finish. Finish the left side seam allowances separately.
9. Stitch the sleeve seam, press the allowances towards the back and finish. Set the sleeves into the armholes, press the allowances and finish.
10. Finish the hem allowance of the dress bottom and sleeve, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
