Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
  2. Stitch bust darts, press allowances upwards.
  3. Overlock the outer edge of the front neckline facing. Place the facing on the front, right sides together, and stitch the neckline edge. Clip allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side, and press.
  4. Attach the yoke to the front (the yoke edge is longer than the front edge by the seam allowance width), press allowances upwards and overlock.
  5. Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
  6. Place collar stand pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked seam line for attachment. Clip allowances at curves. Turn the finished collar stand right side out and press.
  7. Attach the outer of the collar stand to the neckline, press allowances towards the collar stand. Turn under the raw edge of the inner collar stand and topstitch into the attachment seam.
  8. Overlock the raw edge of the sleeve hem, fold inwards, and topstitch. Stitch sleeve seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches, press allowances and overlock.
  9. Fold the garment hem inwards by 1 cm, then by 1.5 cm, and topstitch.
  10. Sew decorative beads onto the seam where the front yoke is attached.
