Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; 4 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEN THE PATTERNS INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THEN THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve hem – 1.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Back - 1 piece on fold
  • Yoke – 1 piece
  • Front – 2 pieces
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Collar stand — 2 pieces
  • Placket – 4 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Collar stand – 1 piece
  • Placket – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing.
2. Stitch darts on the back piece, press allowances towards the center. Attach the yoke to the back, press allowances upwards and serge.
3. Stitch darts on the front pieces, press allowances towards the center. On the front seam between the marks, sew a basting stitch with loosened upper thread and gather.
4. Fold plackets in pairs right sides together and stitch the outer edge. Clip allowances, turn plackets right side out, straighten and press. Attach the outer side of the placket to the front, press allowances towards the placket. Fold under the edge of the inner placket and topstitch into the attachment seam.
5. Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
6. Fold collar stand pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked line of the attachment seam. Clip allowances on curves, turn collar stand right side out and press.
7. Attach the outer part of the collar stand to the neckline, press allowances towards the collar stand. Fold under the raw edge of the inner collar stand and topstitch into the attachment seam.
8. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and serge. Attach sleeves into armholes, press allowances and serge.
9. Serge the hem allowance of the garment and sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
10. Make buttonholes on the right placket. Sew buttons on the left placket.
