Fabric Recommendations

Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, seam allowances are included. If the contour is single, seam allowances are not included. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm, hem allowance - 4 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need.

  • From main fabric:
    • Back half – 2 pieces
    • Front half – 2 pieces
    • Back waistband – 1 piece
    • Front waistband – 1 piece
    • Side – 2 pieces
  • From lining fabric:
    • Pocket bag – 2 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Back waistband – 1 piece
    • Front waistband – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces. Also, apply fusible stay tape along the pocket opening on the front halves.
  2. Place the pocket bag on the front half and stitch around the pocket opening. Turn the pocket bag to the wrong side, topstitch the allowances onto the pocket bag with a 0.1 cm seam, and press.
  3. Place the front half onto the side according to the markings. Stitch the pocket bag to the side, overlock the allowances. Form and secure the pleats on the front halves according to the markings (pleat depths are directed towards the side seam). Secure the pocket bag to the front half along the upper and side edges.
  4. Stitch the center back seam on the back halves, press the allowances to the left side and overlock. Stitch the center front seam on the front halves, press the allowances to the left side and overlock.
  5. Stitch the side seams, press the allowances towards the back half and overlock. Stitch the inseams, press the allowances towards the back half and overlock.
  6. Stitch the waistband pieces into a loop, press the allowances open. Press the waistband in half lengthwise, right side out. On the back waistband, mark and topstitch the casing lines for the elastic. Insert the elastic tape into the waistband, secure according to the markings. Attach the waistband to the trousers, overlock the allowances.
  7. Overlock the hem allowance of the trousers, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
