Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse fusible interfacing to the lower front and back facing; press a 2 cm wide strip of interfacing onto the front neckline edges and armhole edges of the lining fabric.
  2. Place the inner and outer upper front pieces right sides together. Stitch the neckline and armhole edges. Clip seam allowances at curves.
  3. Turn the upper front right side out. Baste the neckline and armhole edges. Gather the lower edges of the upper front between the notches.
  4. Stitch the lower edge of the upper front to the upper edge of the lower front, right sides together.
  5. Stitch the inner and outer lower front pieces along the seam attaching the upper front. Turn the lower front right side out. Turn the upper front upwards, lay the lower downwards. Topstitch the attachment seam of the lower close to the edge. Baste the lower edges of the lower front.
  6. Stitch the darts on the back. Press the darts towards the center back line.
