Sleeveless Knit Dress with Button Straps

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: thin knit fabrics. YOU WILL NEED: Knit fabric 150 cm wide, 2 buttons;

CUTTER'S MUST

• BACK PANEL – 1 QTY on fold
• FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY on fold
• FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY on fold
• BACK SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY on fold
• Strap – 2 QTY on fold
• FRONT neckline FACING – 1 QTY
• BACK neckline FACING – 1 QTY
• Armhole FACING – 2 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the inner halves of the straps and the FACING pieces.
2. Stitch the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL at the side SEAM ALLOWANCES, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
3. Place the FACINGS onto the neckline and armhole cutouts, right sides together, and stitch. Turn the FACINGS to the wrong side, fold under the longitudinal edges, and topstitch close to the edge.
4. Fold the strap halves right sides together, insert the shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES of the BACK PANEL between them, and stitch along them. Finish the shaped edges of the straps. Turn the straps right side out, fold under the free longitudinal edges, and topstitch along the edge of the strap.
5. Fold under the short edges of the FRONT PANEL and topstitch.
6. Stitch the skirt halves at the side SEAM ALLOWANCES, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
7. Stitch the bottom edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL to the top edges of the skirt halves, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and topstitch close to the edge.
8. Press the hem SEAM ALLOWANCES to the wrong side and stitch.
9. Make buttonholes on the straps, sew buttons to the short sides of the FRONT PANEL.
