FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: dense fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: fusible interfacing; 1 concealed zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Seam allowance along the slit – 3 cm. Hem allowance – 3 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. ATTENTION! MARKINGS ARE MADE ON THE RIGHT SIDE.

• From main fabric:
  • Back panel – 2 pieces
  • Back yoke – 4 pieces
  • Right front panel – 1 piece
  • Left front panel – 1 piece
  • Front yoke – 2 pieces
• FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
  • Back yoke – 2 pieces
  • Front yoke – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to the inner yokes.
2. Stitch the darts on the back. Press the dart depth towards the center. Attach the back yoke to the back panel, press seam allowances upwards and overcast. Overcast the center edges of the back panel separately on each piece. Stitch the center seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press seam allowances open. Insert the zipper.
3. Overcast the contoured edge of the left front panel from the mark downwards. Fold the allowance by 1 cm and topstitch. Stitch the contoured edge from the top to the mark. Overcast the allowance from top to bottom. Press the allowance onto the right front panel and topstitch from the top to the mark 0.5 – 1.0 cm from the seam. Hem the allowance from the mark to the bottom with blind stitches.
4. Attach the front yoke to the front panel, press seam allowances upwards and overcast.
5. Stitch the side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
6. Stitch the side seams of the inner yokes (hereinafter referred to as facings), press seam allowances open. Overcast the bottom edge. Place the facing and the skirt right sides together and stitch the top edge. Topstitch the seam allowances to the facing 0.2 cm from the stitching seam. Fold the facing to the wrong side, press. Fold the center edges of the facing and sew to the zipper tape. Topstitch the facing into the seam of attaching the outer yoke.
7. Overcast the bottom edge of the skirt, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
