FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: suiting fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: lining fabric, fusible interfacing, concealed zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 3 cm, lining bottom edge allowance – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Back panel – 2 pieces
  • Front panel – 1 piece on fold
  • Front facing - 1 piece
  • Back facing – 2 pieces
• From lining fabric:
  • Front lining – 1 piece on fold
  • Back lining – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Back facing – 2 pieces
  • Front facing - 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch darts on the back skirt panels. Press dart allowances towards the center. Overcast the center edges of the back panel separately on each piece, simultaneously overcasting the vent. Stitch the center seam from the zipper mark to the edge of the vent. Press seam allowances open, pressing the zipper opening, press vent allowances towards the left side seam. Press the right side of the vent 1 cm. Secure vent allowances with machine stitching. Insert the zipper.
3. Stitch darts on the front skirt panel from the right side. Press dart allowances towards the center.
4. Stitch side seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
5. Stitch darts on the lining. Press dart allowances towards the center. Stitch side seams of the lining. Overcast allowances and press towards the back. Overcast center back edges separately. Stitch from the zipper mark downwards. Press allowance open. Fold the bottom allowance twice by 1 cm and topstitch.
6. Stitch side seams of facings. Attach lining to facings. Press allowance downwards. Place facing and skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Clip curves, trim corners. Turn facing to the wrong side, straighten, press. Fold under the center edges of the back facing and sew to the zipper tape.
7. Overcast the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
