Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom edge of the dress – 3.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Upper back part – 1 piece on fold
  • Upper front part - 1 piece on fold
  • Lower back part – 1 piece on fold
  • Lower front part - 1 piece on fold
  • Collar - 1 piece
  • Cuff - 2 pieces
  • Large belt – 1 piece
  • Small belt – 2 pieces
  • Pocket bag – 4 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Large belt – 1 piece
  • Small belt – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch shoulder seams of upper parts. Finish allowances and press towards the back. Stitch side seams simultaneously with the sleeve seam. Finish allowances and press towards the back.
2. Attach pocket bag to the lower front and back parts. Start and end stitching strictly at the pocket opening markings. Clip allowances at the marks. Stitch pocket lining edges. Stitch side seams of lower parts in two stages: from the top to the beginning of the pocket, and from the pocket downwards. Finish allowances and press towards the back. Along the upper edge of the lower parts, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather.
3. Stitch upper and lower parts of the dress. Finish allowance and press upwards.
4. Stitch collar into a loop. Press allowance open. Fold collar in half lengthwise. Attach the outer side of the collar to the neckline. Fold the allowance of the inner side inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam.
5. Stitch cuff into a loop. Press allowance open. Fold cuff in half lengthwise. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve. Fold the allowance of the inner side inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam.
6. Fold the small belt piece in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch along the long and one short side. Trim allowances at corners, turn right side out. Fold the large belt piece in half lengthwise right sides together. Insert the small belt pieces into the large belt, align side edges and stitch the belt, leaving a technological opening. Turn the belt right side out and press. Close the technological opening.
7. Finish the bottom edge of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
