Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: a concealed zipper.
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for the dress bottom and sleeve hem – 1.2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical parts). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

Sewing Instructions
- Cut a bias binding strip 4 cm wide and a length equal to the length of the neckline of the upper center front part + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding strip lengthwise in half, right side out, and press. Place the binding strip on the neckline, right sides together, extending the ends, and stitch. Fold the binding strip to the wrong side, clip the seams, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece, press.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the upper parts, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Overcast the lower edge of the flounce, press to the wrong side and topstitch. (Alternatively, the lower edge can be finished with a narrow rolled hem. In this case, trim the seam allowance of the flounce's lower edge). Place the flounce with the upper part of the garment and secure along the princess seams and armhole edge.
- Stitch the princess seams of the back and front, press allowances towards the center of the pieces and overcast.
- Attach the lower parts of the dress to the upper parts, press allowances upwards and overcast.
- Overcast the center back seam separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the neckline edge to the first mark and from the second mark to the bottom. Press the allowances of the center seam open. Insert the concealed zipper.
- Stitch the side seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Fold the collar lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch the corners and ties up to the first mark. Clip allowances at the marks, trim at the corners. Turn the collar right side out, shape, press. Attach the outer collar to the neckline. Fold the allowance of the inner collar inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer collar attachment.
- Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances and overcast. Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching the notches. Press allowances and overcast.
- Overcast the hem allowance of the garment and sleeve hem, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
