Topstitch the flap onto the front according to the markings (direct the flap upwards). Fold the flap down and topstitch, securing it.
  4. Attach the yoke to the front. Overlock the allowance and press it upwards.
  5. Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
  6. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press allowances open. Overlock the outer edge. Place the facing with the garment right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Turn the facing to the wrong side, straighten, press. Secure the facing to the main garment at the shoulder seams and center back edge.
  7. Stitch the sleeve seam. Overlock the allowance and press. Set the sleeve into the armhole, matching notches. Overlock the allowance and press.
  8. Overlock the bottom edge of the dress and sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
