CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all allowances – 1 cm. Hem allowance, along the center edge of the right and left front pieces – 2.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

• From main fabric:
  • Back - 1 piece on fold
  • Right front - 1 piece
  • Left front - 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Back neckline facing – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Interface the back neckline facing with fusible interfacing.
2. Stitch the bust darts on the front piece, press the dart depths upwards.
3. Overlock the center edges of the left and right front pieces, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Place the right front piece right side down onto the wrong side of the left front piece and stitch the neckline edge. Clip the allowances at the curves, turn the right front piece to the right side, press. Secure the front pieces at the shoulder edges.
4. Stitch the side seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
5. Overlock the outer edge of the back neckline facing. Place the back neckline facing with the main piece and stitch the neckline edge. The stitching should start and end strictly at the marked shoulder seam line.
6. Stitch the shoulder seams, placing the shoulder edge of the front piece between the shoulder edge of the back piece and the facing. Press and overlock the allowances. Turn the neckline facing to the wrong side, straighten, press.
7. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch, fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece.
8. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
