• FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: underlap, back neckline FACING, front neckline FACING, welt pocket flaps.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the pieces.
2. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL, inserting decorative piping. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center of the FRONT PANEL.
3. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Press the seam to the left side. Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL, inserting decorative piping. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center of the BACK PANEL.
4. Stitch the shoulder and side seams. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline FACING. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Stitch the FACING to the neckline, inserting decorative piping. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves and press.
6. Fold the welt pocket flap right sides together and stitch the short sides. Trim SEAM ALLOWANCES and turn right side out. Overlock the bottom edge. Place the welt pocket flap on the FRONT PANEL, aligning the stitching line with the lower marking line (the fold of the welt pocket flap is directed towards the bottom edge) and topstitch. Turn the welt pocket flap up and topstitch along the two short sides.
7. Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL LINING. Stitch the center seam. Stitch the inner FACING to the BACK PANEL LINING. Stitch the hem FACINGS to the LINING pieces. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards. Stitch the LINING pieces similarly to the main pieces, leaving an opening in the left side seam. Place the garment with the LINING right sides together and stitch along the front edge, neckline, and hem. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves, topstitch the neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE to the LINING at 0.2 cm.
8. Stitch the armhole in 2 steps through the opening in the side seam: the back armhole from the shoulder seam to the side seam, and the front armhole from the shoulder seam to the side seam. Close the opening.
9. On the right FRONT PANEL, make buttonholes; on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on buttons.
