Fabric Recommendations

Choose knit fabrics with medium to high stretch, ensuring comfort and drape:

  • Knit fabrics made from natural or blended fibers

Additional Supplies

No additional notions are required.

Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: Neckline and armhole seam allowance – 1.5 cm, other seams 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need.

  • From main fabric:
    • Front – 1 piece on fold
    • Back – 1 piece on fold
    • Bottom – 1 piece on fold

Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. Stitch side and shoulder seams. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
  2. Overlock the neckline edge, fold to the wrong side and topstitch.
  3. Overlock the armhole edge, fold to the wrong side and topstitch.
  4. Stitch the bottom seam. Overlock the allowance. Fold the bottom in half lengthwise and attach, stretching it slightly. The seam is located at the left side seam. Overlock the allowance and press downwards.
