Cutter's Must
If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance 2 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

- Placket – 2 pieces
- Front – 2 pieces
- Collar stand — 2 pieces
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
- Cuff – 2 pieces
- From fusible interfacing:
- cuffs, plackets, collar stand — 1 piece.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce cuffs, plackets, and collar stand with fusible interfacing.
- Fold the placket in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Stitch the outer side of the placket to the front. Press the seam towards the placket. Turn under the inner edge of the placket by 1 cm and topstitch.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the blouse. Overlock the side and shoulder seams. Press the side and shoulder seams towards the back.
- Fold the collar stand pieces right sides together and stitch around. Start and end the stitching strictly at the seam line for attaching to the neckline. Turn the collar stand right side out and press.
- Along the neckline edge of the front, 0.5 cm from the edge, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather to match the section on the collar stand.
- Stitch the outer side of the collar stand to the neckline, press the seam towards the collar stand. Turn under the inner edge and topstitch into the attachment seam. Topstitch the collar stand along the contour.
- Fold the cuffs right sides together and stitch the side edges, trim allowances at the corners and turn right side out. Press the cuffs.
- Cut a bias binding for the sleeve slit, 19*3 cm in cut. Mark the closure line on the sleeve, cut the sleeve along the line. Lay out the sleeve along the cut line in a straight line and finish the slit with a binding seam with a closed edge. The binding width is 0.5 – 0.7 cm. The seam width along the length of the slit is 0.5 – 0.7 cm, at the top of the slit it decreases to 0.2 cm. Stitch along the bottom of the sleeve with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather the bottom of the sleeve to the length of the cuff.
- Stitch, overlock, and press the sleeve seam. Set in the sleeves, easing the cap.
- Stitch the outer side of the cuff to the bottom of the sleeve. Turn under the allowance of the inner side of the cuff and topstitch into the attachment seam.
- Press the hem of the garment twice by 1 cm to the wrong side and topstitch.
- On the fronts, collar stand, and cuffs, make buttonholes and sew on buttons.
