First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need.

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. Reinforce the upper yokes with fusible interfacing.
  2. Attach the outer yokes to the front and back panels. Press seam allowances upwards. Stitch the right side seam. Overlock and press seam allowances open. Overlock the seam allowances of the left side seam. Insert the invisible zipper into the left side seam. Stitch the right side seam on the inner yokes. Overlock the lower edge of the lower yoke. Fold the yokes right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Fold the inner yoke to the wrong side. Fold under the side edges of the inner yoke and stitch to the zipper. Attach the inner yoke into the seam of the outer yoke.
  3. Stitch the side seams of the lower skirt parts. Overlock and press seam allowances towards the back panel. Overlock the lower edge, fold inwards and topstitch. Overlap the right part over the left and secure along the upper edge.
  4. Stitch the side seams of the trim. Overlock the seam and press towards the back. Overlock the lower edge of the trim, fold inwards and topstitch. Pin the trim and the lower skirt parts along the upper edge and attach to the skirt. Overlock the seam and press downwards.
