- From main fabric:
- Back - 2 pieces
- Upper front part – 1 piece
- Lower front part – 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the center back seam. Overlock the seam allowances and press them towards the left side.
- Along the upper edge of the lower front part, from the shoulder seam to the mark, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower front parts together. Overlock the seam allowances and press them upwards.
- Stitch the right shoulder seam, press the seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 5 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the neckline edge, right side to right side, and stitch. Clip the seam allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
- Stitch the left shoulder seam, press the seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 5 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the armhole edge, right side to right side, and stitch. Clip the seam allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
- Stitch the side seams, press the seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Overlock the hem allowance of the garment, press it to the wrong side and topstitch.
