Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 2 cm. Attention! First of all, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need. When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 1 piece
    • Front – 1 piece
    • Back facing – 2 pieces
    • Front facing - 2 pieces
  • From main fabric1:
    • Lower front – 1 piece
    • Lower back – 1 piece
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Back facing – 1 piece
    • Front facing - 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

  1. Reinforce details with fusible interfacing.
  2. Stitch the front facing to the front, press seam allowances towards the facing. Stitch the lower to the front, press seam allowances upwards and overlock.
  3. Stitch the back facing to the back, press seam allowances towards the facing. Stitch the lower to the back, press seam allowances upwards and overlock.
  4. Overlock the left side seams separately. Stitch the left side seam, from the zipper mark to the bottom. Insert the zipper.
  5. Stitch the right side seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
  6. Stitch the side seams of the inner facings, press seam allowances open, overlock the lower edge. Place the facing and the skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Clip seam allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Hand stitch the side edges of the facings to the zipper tape. Topstitch the facing into the seam of the outer facing attachment.
  7. Overlock the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
