CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: All seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 2 cm. Center seam allowance of the lower front panel – 2 cm. Top seam allowance of the back pocket – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Back panel – 2 pieces
  • Front panel – 2 pieces
  • Lower front panel – 2 pieces
  • Back facing – 2 pieces
  • Front facing - 4 pieces
  • Belt loop – 4 pieces
  • Back pocket – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Back facing – 1 piece
  • Front facing - 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch the center back seam, press allowances to the left side, serge. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam. Attach the outer back facing to the back panel, press allowances upwards.
3. Press the top allowance of the back pocket to the wrong side, turn under and topstitch. Serge the pocket edges, press allowances to the wrong side. Place pockets on the back panel according to markings and topstitch.
4. Serge the edge of the self-faced placket of the front panel, press to the wrong side along the edge line and topstitch along the marked line. Overlap the right panel onto the left, aligning at the center line, and secure together.
5. Attach the front facing to the skirt (the facing is longer than the front panel by the width of the facing allowance), press allowances towards the facing.
6. Serge the center allowance of the lower front panel, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Attach the lower panel to the front panel, butting the lower panel pieces together, press allowances upwards and serge. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
7. Stitch the side seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
8. Fold the belt loop piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, stitch along the contour, leaving the upper short edge free. Turn the belt loop right side out, straighten, press and topstitch along the contour.
9. Stitch the side seams of the inner facings, press allowances open, serge the lower edge. Place the facing with the skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge and the vertical edge of the front facings, inserting the belt loops according to markings. Clip allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Topstitch into the seam of the outer facing attachment. Topstitch the lower side of the belt loop to the facing.
10. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
11. Make buttonholes on the right front panel, sew buttons on the left panel.
