IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for inner parts – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical parts). WHEN STITCHING PARTS, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Outer back - 2 pieces
  • Inner back - 2 pieces
  • Outer front - 2 pieces
  • Inner front - 1 piece on fold
  • Neckline facing - 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Neckline facing – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch darts on the inner back, press allowances towards the center. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the slit mark to the bottom. Press seam open. Topstitch along the slit at 0.2 cm.
3. Serge the center back edges of the outer back separately. Stitch the center back seam from the slit mark to the bottom. Press seam open. Topstitch along the slit at 0.2 cm.
4. Stitch darts on the inner front, trim allowances with an overlock machine and press towards the center.
5. Stitch shoulder and side seams of the inner blouse parts. Serge allowances and press towards the back. Serge the hem allowance of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
6. Stitch shoulder and side seams of the outer blouse parts. Serge allowances and press towards the back. Serge the center and bottom edges of the outer blouse parts, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Alternatively, the edge can be finished with bias binding; for this, the allowance needs to be trimmed.
7. Place the outer part onto the inner part and secure along the neckline and armhole edges.
8. Cut (if not ready-made) bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the edge of the right armhole, right sides together, and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece.
9. Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide and 10 cm long for a rouleau loop. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch at 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out and shape the rouleau. Adjust the loop length.
10. Place neckline facings right sides together and stitch the upper edge and corners, inserting the loop. Trim allowances at corners, turn the facing right side out, shape, and press. Stitch the outer side of the facing to the neckline, fold under the allowance of the inner side and topstitch into the seam of the outer side attachment.
11. Sew on the button.
