Pattern #2501
Tech. Description

Fitted Vest with Draped Voluminous Collar and Sculpted Silhouette

Introducing a pattern for a fitted sleeveless vest featuring a voluminous draped collar, contoured panel shaping, and a clean cropped silhouette — Fluid Draping with a Bold, Feminine Statement.

When To Wear

This vest is designed as a standalone statement garment, suitable for:

Evening & Occasion Wear
A striking piece ideal for nights out, events, or elevated styling.

Contemporary Fashion Styling
Perfect as a fashion-forward top paired with trousers, denim, or skirts.

Statement Minimal Looks
Designed to stand on its own without layering, allowing the draped collar to define the entire look.

Key Design Features

Silhouette
Fitted, waist-shaped silhouette with a cropped length that emphasizes the waistline.

Collar
Voluminous draped collar forming soft cascading folds at the front, creating a bold focal point.

Closure
Invisible zipper closure, maintaining a clean and uninterrupted front.

Armholes
Sleeveless construction with precisely finished armholes for a sharp, clean edge.

Back
Contoured back panels with a center back seam and waist darts ensuring a close, structured fit.

Construction
Engineered balance between structured body panels and fluid draping at the neckline.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate to Advanced. Requires precision in panel assembly and careful control of draped collar shaping.

Fabric Recommendations

Choose fabrics that balance structure with fluid drape:
