Fabric recommendations: Blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. You will also need: fusible interfacing, 3 buttons.

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 1.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Back - 2 pieces
  • Front – 1 piece on fold
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Cuff – 2 pieces
  • Neckline facing – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Cuff – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing.
2. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the slit mark to the bottom. Press seam allowances open.
3. Make a slit on the sleeve along the marked line. Cut a bias strip from the main fabric 4 cm wide and a length equal to twice the slit length +4 cm. Fold the bias strip in half lengthwise and press. Press the outer seam allowances towards the center. Face the sleeve slit with the bias strip.
4. Attach the sleeves to the back, press seam allowances towards the back and serge. Attach the sleeves to the front, press seam allowances towards the front and serge.
5. Along the upper edge of the necklines and sleeve, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Distribute the gathers closer to the centers of the pieces.
6. Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide and 10 cm long for the loop. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim seam allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out and straighten the rouleau. Adjust the loop length.
7. Place the facings right sides together and stitch the neckline and short sides, inserting the loop. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn the inner facing to the wrong side and press. Stitch the outer part of the facing to the neckline. Press seam allowances towards the facing. Fold under the raw edge of the inner facing and topstitch into the joining seam.
8. Serge the side seams and sleeve seams separately. Stitch seam allowances from the bottom of the sleeve to the slit mark and press open. Topstitch the seam allowance along the slit 0.5 cm from the edge.
9. Place cuff pieces right sides together and stitch the side edges. Start and end stitching precisely at the marked cuff attachment seam line. Turn the piece right side out, press. Along the lower edge of the sleeve, stitch with a loosened thread and gather. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the seam allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the joining seam of the outer cuff.
10. Serge the hem allowance of the garment, fold inwards and topstitch.
11. Make buttonholes on the cuffs. Sew buttons on the cuffs and facing.
