Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. You will also need: 1 button, fusible interfacing.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance – 2.0 cm, other seams - 1.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.

• From main fabric:
  • Front – 1 piece on fold
  • Back – 2 pieces
  • Lower sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Upper sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Slit facing – 1 piece
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Slit facing – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Stitch bust darts. Press seam allowances upwards.
2. Serge the center back seam separately. Stitch the seam from the slit mark to the bottom. Press seam allowances open. Topstitch along the slit at 0.1 – 0.2 cm to secure and finish.
3. Serge the outer edge of the slit facing. Place the facing on the front, right sides together, and stitch the slit. Clip the seam allowance at the corner, turn the facing to the wrong side, and press.
4. Serge the bottom edge of the sleeve, fold inwards, and topstitch. Alternatively, you can finish with bias binding or a French seam; for this, you will need to trim the seam allowance. Place the upper sleeve on the lower sleeve, right sides up, and secure along the armhole edges. Attach sleeves to the back and front. Serge seam allowances and press towards the sleeve.
5. Stitch side seams, press seam allowances towards the back, and serge.
6. Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide and 10 cm long for the loop. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim seam allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out, and straighten the loop. Adjust the loop length.
7. Place neckline facing pieces right sides together and stitch along the neckline edge and center back edge, inserting the loop. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn right side out, and press. Stitch the outer side of the facing to the neckline, press seam allowance towards the facing. Fold the seam allowance of the inner side inwards by 1 cm and topstitch into the attachment seam.
8. Cut (or use ready-made) bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the length of the lower armhole + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, wrong sides together, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge on the right side and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip seam allowances, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
9. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
10. Sew the button onto the neckline facing.
