Minerva's men's sewing patterns are built around classic tailoring: suits and blazers, tailcoats and morning coats, tuxedo and dinner jackets, waistcoats, overcoats and trench coats, alongside shirts, trousers and casual jackets. Every design is hand-drafted in professional CAD and generated to your height, chest, waist and hip measurements, never scaled from a generic block.
Men's fit is driven by the balance between shoulder, chest and waist, the so-called drop, and by clean sleeve and trouser lines. Because each pattern is made to your measurements, that balance is set for your frame before cutting, which is what separates a sharp jacket or a well-hanging trouser from an approximate one.
Formal menswear is where the collection is strongest: white tie tailcoats, cutaway morning coats, shawl collar tuxedo jackets, white tie and three-piece waistcoats, and double-breasted blazers with peak or notched lapels. These are patterns for weddings, balls, stage wear, historical and cosplay costume, and bespoke commissions, drafted with the lapel roll, tail shaping and waist suppression a formal garment needs.
Every men's pattern can be ordered as DXF AAMA for professional pattern CAD and 3D platforms such as CLO3D, as a projector PDF for cutting straight from a projector, as PDF in A4, A0, US Letter and other paper sizes, or as PLT for cutting plotters. Tailors and small studios can take a pattern straight into production; home sewists can print it or project it onto the cloth.
Because grading is measurement-driven, the same pattern serves a slim build and a big-and-tall one without a separate size run. You enter your figures, or pick a standard size to fill them in, and the block is drafted to them, so length, width and balance scale together instead of forcing you into the nearest ready-made size.
