ATTENTION! Markings on the pattern pieces are on the right side of the fabric.

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics should be sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.

Sewing Instructions

1. Cut a BIAS BINDING equal to the pocket opening length from the main fabric. Fold in half lengthwise and press. Unfold and press the longitudinal edges towards the center. Fold in half lengthwise and press. Bind the pocket opening with the BIAS BINDING. Serge the rounded edge of the pocket LINING. Place the SIDE PANEL onto the LINING and topstitch along the rounded line. Secure the LINING and the SIDE PANEL along the bottom edge with a stitch 0.5 cm from the bottom.
2. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES, press to the left side, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
3. Stitch the princess seam on the left FRONT PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE, press towards the side seam, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
4. Stitch the side seams. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL. Serge the outer edge of the central right FRONT PANEL. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCE inwards and topstitch.
5. Attach the upper edge of the lower TRIM STRIP to the bottom edge of the hoodie, slightly stretching the TRIM STRIP. Serge the lower edge of the TRIM STRIP. Place the right side of the ZIPPER onto the right princess seam, starting from the middle of the lower TRIM STRIP and ending at the ZIPPER mark with teeth towards the side seam. Wrap the ZIPPER with the lower part of the TRIM STRIP, place the central right FRONT PANEL onto the ZIPPER, and stitch. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the side seam. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam. Place the left side of the ZIPPER onto the outer edge of the left FRONT PANEL, starting from the middle of the lower TRIM STRIP and ending at the ZIPPER mark with teeth towards the side seam. Wrap the ZIPPER with the lower part of the TRIM STRIP and attach. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the side seam. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam. Fold the inner edge of the TRIM STRIP upwards and stitch into the seam of attaching the outer part of the TRIM STRIP.
6. Stitch the shoulder seams. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES, press towards the BACK PANEL, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
7. Fold the COLLAR pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Turn the COLLAR right side out and press. Topstitch along the outer edge 0.5 cm from the edge. Fold the BIAS BINDING in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the hoodie and COLLAR pieces right sides together. Place the BIAS BINDING onto the COLLAR edge and align the edges. Stitch the COLLAR and hoodie pieces together with the BIAS BINDING. Fold the BIAS BINDING back and topstitch it onto the hoodie, thereby covering the hood attachment seam. Fold the ends of the BIAS BINDING inwards.
8. Stitch the SLEEVE seam. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the back of the SLEEVE. Fold the CUFF right side in and stitch into a loop. Fold the CUFF in half lengthwise and attach to the SLEEVE. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE. Set in the SLEEVES, matching the NOTCHES. Serge the seam and press towards the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
