Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse the gusset pieces and the upper visor with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
2. Stitch the gussets in pairs, folding them right sides together. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCES at 0.2 cm. Fold the stitched gussets in pairs right sides together so that the centers align and stitch. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
3. Fold the fur SIDE PANEL pieces right sides together and sew with frequent overcast stitches through the edge, bending the fur back to avoid catching hair in the seam, without stretching the sides to prevent distortion. Flatten the SEAM ALLOWANCES with a hammer.
4. Fold the lower edge of the crown to the wrong side. Join the gussets to the SIDE PANEL so that the centers align. Sew the gussets to the fur SIDE PANEL with frequent overcast stitches through the edge, similar to the SIDE PANEL pieces.
5. Fold the visor pieces right sides together and stitch along the edge. Turn the visor right side out, baste, and press. Stitch two decorative lines along the edge of the visor.
6. Stitch the center seam of the earflaps in pairs, topstitch the seam. Baste the ties to the center of the earflaps. Fold the earflaps right sides together and stitch along the outer contour, turn right side out, baste, and press. Stitch two decorative lines along the edge of the earflaps.
7. Fold the upper edge of the earflaps and visor to the wrong side. Fold the crown with the earflaps right sides together, secure the centers. Sew the fur edge of the crown to the earflaps with frequent overcast stitches through the edge, ensuring no stretching of the sides. Attach the visor similarly.
8. Stitch the fur pom-pom piece with frequent stitches through the edge and gather it on a thread, but not completely. Insert a ball of padding polyester inside the circle, gather the circle, and stitch it tightly. Attach the pom-pom to the center of the crown.
9. Fold the LINING and padding polyester pieces and quilt them with parallel stitches forming diamonds. The distance between stitches is 2.5 cm. Stitch the LINING gussets similarly to the main fabric pieces. Stitch the SIDE PANEL pieces, topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Fold the gussets with the SIDE PANEL right sides together, stitch, and topstitch.
10. Insert the LINING into the hat so that it fits snugly against the top, secure with pins in several places, fold the edge of the LINING, and sew with frequent blind stitches.
