CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- Patch pocket - QTY 1
- BACK PANEL - QTY 1 on fold
- FRONT PANEL - QTY 2
- COLLAR - QTY 2 on fold
- Back SLEEVE part – QTY 2
- Front SLEEVE part – QTY 2
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: COLLAR.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the COLLAR with FUSIBLE INTERFACING. (Iron-on interfacings are pressed onto the wrong side of the piece with a hot iron).
- Stitch the front center seam below the slit NOTCH for the ZIPPER.
- Fold the top SEAM ALLOWANCE of the pocket to the right side of the pocket and stitch to the side edges.
- Fold the top SEAM ALLOWANCE and the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the remaining edges of the pocket to the wrong side.
- Topstitch the pocket along the upper edge, place it on the left FRONT PANEL along the alignment line, and topstitch.
- Stitch the side seams, ending the stitching 8 cm above the slit NOTCH.
- Stitch the upper SLEEVE seams, ending the stitching 8 cm above the slit NOTCH.
- Stitch the lower SLEEVE seams.
- Fold the hem SEAM ALLOWANCE of the shirt and the hem SEAM ALLOWANCES of the SLEEVES to the right side and stitch along the edges of the slits exactly to the slit NOTCH.
- Fold the upper edge of the hem down at the level of the slit NOTCH and pin.
- Stitch the remaining sections of the side seams and upper SLEEVE seams.
- Fold the hems to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Set the SLEEVES into the open armholes and topstitch along the setting seams close to the seam.
- Baste the ZIPPER under the edges of the front slit, so that the teeth are not visible, and stitch.
- Stitch the edges of the COLLAR pieces along the outer contour.
- Turn the COLLAR right side out and press.
- Set the lower COLLAR into the neckline, turn under the upper COLLAR and stitch into the setting seam from the wrong side of the shirt.
- Topstitch the COLLAR.
