Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Serge the armhole edges of the upper FRONT PANEL, press to the wrong side, and topstitch. Along the upper and lower edges, sew a basting stitch with loose tension and gather.
3. Cut a strip of main fabric for the loops, 5x5 cm. Fold in half lengthwise with right sides out and press. Unfold, press the side edges towards the center, and fold in half again. Stitch 0.1 cm from the edge, cut into two pieces. Insert the loops into the decorative fastener.
4. Stitch together the interfaced pieces of the FRONT PANEL neckline FACING, straps, and front FACINGS. Attach the upper FRONT PANEL to the front neckline FACING. Attach the lower edge of the upper FRONT PANEL to the front FACING from the edge to the mark. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the FACING.
5. Stitch together the non-interfaced pieces of the FRONT PANEL neckline FACING, straps, and front FACINGS. Place these pieces onto the interfaced ones and stitch the front neckline, the outer edge of the straps, and the lower edge of the front FACING, inserting the loops with the fastener. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES, turn to the right side, and press. Fold the raw SEAM ALLOWANCES of the FACINGS and straps inwards, align, and topstitch 0.1 cm from the edge.
6. Stitch the side edges of the skirt, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL, and serge.
7. Stitch the side edges of the interfaced BACK PANEL FACINGS and front placket. Along the upper edges of the BACK SKIRT HALF and FRONT SKIRT HALF, sew a basting stitch with loose tension and gather. Attach the skirt halves to the interfaced BACK PANEL FACINGS and front placket. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards.
8. Serge the center edges of the BACK SKIRT HALF. Stitch from the ZIPPER mark downwards, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Insert the ZIPPER.
9. Attach the non-interfaced BACK PANEL FACINGS to the front placket, place them onto the main pieces, and stitch along the upper edge, inserting the upper FRONT PANEL between them. Fold the inner pieces to the wrong side and press. Fold the raw SEAM ALLOWANCES of the inner pieces inwards and stitch in the ditch of the outer attachment seam.
10. Serge the bottom edge, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
