Gathered Bow Neck Shift Dress

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
• BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
• FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
• COLLAR - bow - 1 QTY
• From LINING:
• BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
• FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Press the COLLAR lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch the ties and the section between the NOTCHES (above the shoulder). Turn right side out, press.
2. Serge the left side SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the left side seam from the ZIPPER mark downwards, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Insert the ZIPPER. Stitch the right side seam, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
3. Process the LINING pieces similarly to the main garment pieces. Place the LINING and the main garment right sides together and stitch the armhole edges, clip SEAM ALLOWANCES. Turn the sundress right side out, press, and topstitch 0.1 cm from the edge.
4. Along the upper edge of the FRONT PANEL, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather.
5. Attach the outer COLLAR to the upper edges of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL, press the inner COLLAR's SEAM ALLOWANCE inwards and topstitch into the outer COLLAR's attachment seam, simultaneously topstitching 0.1 cm from the edge of the ties.
6. Serge the bottom edges of the sundress and the LINING (separately), press to the wrong side and topstitch.
