• From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
1. BACK PANEL Facing – 2 QTY
2. FRONT PANEL Facing - 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL facings.
2. Fold the belt loop lengthwise in half, right sides together, align the edges and stitch along the long side. Turn right side out, straighten the seam, positioning it in the middle of the wrong side, and press. Topstitch along the long sides at 0.2 cm. Cut the belt loop piece according to size.
3. Fold the strap lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch the long edge. Turn right side out, positioning the seam on the fold, press. Topstitch at 0.2 cm.
4. Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and serge. Topstitch at 0.2 cm from the seam.
5. Attach the non-interfaced BACK PANEL facing to the BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the facing.
6. Stitch the darts on the lower BACK PANEL, press the depths towards the center of the piece. Topstitch at 0.2 cm from the seam.
7. Stitch the upper and lower BACK PANELs, simultaneously attaching the lower edges of the belt loops, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge. Press the upper edge of the belt loop to the wrong side and topstitch onto the garment. Serge the center BACK PANEL edge. Stitch the center edge from the mark downwards, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Insert the ZIPPER.
8. Attach the middle FRONT PANEL to the central FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center, serge. Topstitch at 0.2 cm from the seam. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and serge. Topstitch at 0.2 cm from the seam.
9. Attach the non-interfaced FRONT PANEL facing to the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the facing.
10. Fold the pleats on the FRONT PANEL right sides together along the marked lines and stitch. Press the depths towards the side edges.
11. Stitch the upper and lower FRONT PANELs, simultaneously attaching the lower edges of the belt loops, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge. Press the upper edge of the belt loop to the wrong side and topstitch onto the garment.
12. Stitch the side edges, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
13. Stitch the side edges of the interfaced BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL facing pieces, serge the lower edge. Align the facings with the garment and stitch the upper edge, catching the straps. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES, turn the facing to the wrong side, press. Fold the center edges inwards and secure to the ZIPPER tape. From the right side, topstitch the facing at 0.2 cm from the seam, simultaneously securing the inner facing.
14. Put on the sundress, adjust the length of the straps, serge the lower edges and secure them to the BACK PANEL facing (on the wrong side) above the princess seams. Press the hem of the garment up 1 cm, then another 2 cm and topstitch. Thread the belt through the belt loops.
