Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the integrated placket, upper collar, and inner stand with fusible interfacing.
- Place the upper collar and lower collar right sides together. Stitch the ends and the outer edge of the collar. Trim the seam allowances. Turn the collar right side out, shape, and press. Place the stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished collar between them, align the notches, and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the stand. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked line of the stand attachment seam. Turn the finished collar right side out and press.
- On the front, create the first pleat along the marked lines, folding it right side in. Stitch the pleat from the wrong side, from the neckline to the transverse mark. Process the remaining 3 pleats in a similar manner. Press the pleats towards the center of the front, as shown in the illustration.
- Stitch the darts on the front panels. Press the waist darts towards the center of the front, and the bust darts upwards. Stitch the darts on the back. Press the darts towards the center seam. Stitch the center seam of the back. Overlock and press the seam.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams. Overlock the seams and press them towards the back. Fold the plackets twice to the right side and topstitch along the inner edge of the placket.
- Attach the upper stand with the collar to the neckline, fold the open edge of the lower stand, and topstitch it into the seam of the upper stand attachment. Topstitch along the stand and collar.
- Stitch and overlock the sleeve edges. Attach the sleeves, easing them at the cap.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment and sleeves, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
- On the right front, make buttonholes; on the left, sew on buttons.
