Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the upper collar.
- Mark and stitch the bust dart on the front. Press the dart upwards. Stitch the wrap dart along the marked lines and press downwards.
- Stitch the darts on the back. Press the darts towards the center seam. Stitch the center back seam. Overlock the seam and press open.
- Overlock the side edges of the blouse. Stitch and press open the side seams of the blouse, leaving an opening in the right seam. Topstitch 0.1 cm along the opening in the side seam. Stitch, overlock, and press the shoulder seams towards the back.
- Fold the collar stand pieces right sides together and stitch around. Trim the seam allowances and turn the collar right side out. At the notches on the inner collar stand, corresponding to the shoulder seam, clip the seam allowances. Press the collar.
- Cut the front from the shoulder seam to the mark. Overlock of the shoulder seam and the bias edge of the integrated facing. Attach the collar to the neckline: from the front side, both the upper and lower collar are attached simultaneously, and from the back side – only the upper collar. The seam allowance on the front side is 0.2 – 0.3 cm. Fold the facing to the right side and stitch to the collar and shoulder seam. Fold the facing to the wrong side. Fold the free seam allowance of the inner collar inwards and topstitch into the seam of the upper collar attachment.
- Fold the belt in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along 3 sides: two long and one short side. Turn the belt right side out and press.
- Fold the facing to the right side, insert the belt between the facing and the front, and stitch in one seam. Overlock the seam, fold the facing to the wrong side. Fold the open edge from the belt to the hem inwards and topstitch.
- Stitch and overlock the sleeve seams. Press the sleeve seams. Between the notches, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Set the sleeves into the armholes. Overlock the seam and press towards the front.
- Overlock the hem of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
