- Lace trim, 4-5 cm width (for sleeve flounce seam & blouse hem)
Cutter's Must
- From main fabric:
- 1. Back - 1 qty
- 2. Front - 1 qty on fold
- 3. Sleeve – 2 qty
- 4. Flounce – 2 qty
Sewing Instructions
- On the front, along the marked lines, lay the first pleat with the wrong side inwards, edge outwards. Stitch the pleat from the right side from the neckline to the transverse mark. Process the remaining pleats in a similar manner. Press the pleats towards the center of the front, as shown in the illustration.
- Stitch the darts on the back. Press the darts towards the center of the back.
- Stitch the right shoulder seam. Overlock the seam and press towards the back. Overlock the seam allowance along the neckline edge. Place a 2 cm trim strip over the neckline edge and topstitch. Stitch the left shoulder seam. Overlock the seam and press towards the back. Stitch the side seams. Overlock the seams and press towards the back.
- Attach the flounces to the sleeves. Overlock the seam and press upwards. Topstitch a 4-5 cm wide trim strip over the seam. Topstitch a 2 cm wide trim strip along the bottom of the flounces. Stitch, overlock, and press the sleeve edges. Set in the sleeves, easing the cap.
- Overlock the bottom of the garment. Topstitch a 4-5 cm wide trim strip along the bottom of the blouse.
