Fabric recommendations: elastic thin dress fabrics. You will need: Crepe de chine with elastic fibers, 150 cm wide.

Cutter's Must

• 1. Back - 2 pieces
• 2. Front, cut-on with strap - 2 pieces
• 3. Bias binding - 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch darts on front panels and the center seam. Press dart allowances downwards, press seam open.
2. Stitch the center seam of the back up to the mark for the zipper, press seam allowances open. Attach the zipper so that the teeth are not visible.
3. Stitch side seams and the center seam of the strap, first making pleats on the strap. Press seam allowances open.
4. Overlock the neck and hem seam allowances, turn to the wrong side and topstitch with a 0.7 cm seam.
5. Press the bias binding in half, right side up. Align the edges of the trim strip with the edges of the back, armholes, and straps. (Place the trim strip on the right side of the garment, leaving 1 cm edges near the zipper.) Stitch the trim strip with a 1 cm seam. Trim seam allowances to 0.4 cm. Fold the trim strip to the wrong side, forming a 1mm edge from the main fabric, and topstitch 0.7 cm from the edge, first folding the edges of the trim strip near the zipper inwards.
