- Upper FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
- Lower FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
- Right BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
- Left BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
- Right FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- Left FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- BACK SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: Press BIAS BINDING made of thin FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the wrong side along the upper edges of the skirt halves and to the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the center seams of the BACK PANEL pieces, aligning the center of the TRIM STRIP with the marked seam line.
Sewing Instructions
- Pin and stitch the BACK PANEL darts, starting the seam at the lower edge of the BACK PANEL. Press the dart depth towards the center back line.
- Sew the center back seam from the ZIPPER mark to the bottom of the garment. Overcast and press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES, press the edges of the ZIPPER opening.
- Baste the ZIPPER so that the teeth are not visible, and stitch at a distance of 0.5 cm.
- Place the BACK PANEL and BACK SKIRT HALF right sides together, pin and stitch the edges. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES together and press downwards.
- Place the lower FRONT PANEL and upper FRONT PANEL right sides together, pin the edges and sew the princess seam. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES together and press downwards.
- Place the FRONT PANEL and FRONT SKIRT HALF right sides together, pin and stitch. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES together and press downwards.
- Place the FRONT PANEL and FRONT SKIRT HALF with the BACK PANEL and BACK SKIRT HALF right sides together and pin the side seams, aligning the seams where the skirt halves are attached.
- Pin the shoulder seams and then the side seams of the one-piece COLLAR and one-piece COLLAR FACING. Stitch. Clip the shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES several times at the curves. Press open and overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Overcast the upper edge of the one-piece COLLAR FACING and the armhole edges, stretching them slightly.
- Turn the one-piece COLLAR FACING to the wrong side along the fold line, but do not press the fold. Stitch the FACING to the ZIPPER tapes and the shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Press the armhole SEAM ALLOWANCES to the wrong side and hand stitch with blind stitches.
- Press the hem allowance of the dress to the wrong side, overcast and hand stitch with a velvet stitch.
