Tech. Description

Fabric & Materials

Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing. IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE PATTERNS INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES; IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 1.5 cm. Other allowances – 1.0 cm

CUTTER'S MUST

ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  3. Stitch bust darts, press depths upwards. Create and secure pleats on the shoulder edge of the front (depths directed towards the center edge).
  4. Right front. Place the front facing on the front, right sides together, and stitch the outer edge. Clip allowances at curves, turn pieces right side out, press. Left front. Place the front facing on the front, right sides together, and stitch the outer edge from the shoulder seam to the mark. Clip allowances at curves and at the mark, turn pieces right side out, press.
  5. Overlap the right front onto the left, aligning the center lines. Stitch the left front to the right front facing, press and overcast allowances, simultaneously overcasting the open edge of the front facing up to the right shoulder edge.
  6. Press the lower allowance of the inner collar stand to the wrong side. Place the inner collar stand on the outer collar stand, right sides together, and stitch the upper edge precisely to the marked shoulder seam line. Clip allowances.
  7. Stitch the shoulder edges, placing them between the outer and inner collar stand. Press allowances towards the back, overcast. Turn pieces right side out. Topstitch the inner collar stand into the seam of the outer collar stand attachment.
  8. Stitch the side edges, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
  9. Stitch the sleeve edges, press allowances towards the back and overcast. Set sleeves into armholes, press and overcast allowances.
  10. Stitch the cuff into a loop, press allowances open. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half, right sides together, and press. Stitch the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
  11. Overcast the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  12. Secure the right and left fronts at the lower corner of the neckline with a decorative stitch, or a decorative button, or a brooch.
