CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES; IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance for the garment bottom – 1.5 cm; sleeve hem allowance – 2 cm; outer ruffle allowance – 0 cm; Other allowances – 1.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces. The integrated placket of the left front piece is also interfaced.
- On the left front piece, fold the integrated placket along the marked line to the right side and press.
- Finish the outer edge of the ruffle with a narrow rolled hem. Along the inner edge, stitch with a loosened upper thread to create gathers or lay and secure arbitrary pleats. Attach the ruffle to the center edge of the left front piece and the diagonal line marked with a wavy symbol. Fold the integrated placket along the marked line to the right side, fold the allowance inwards, and topstitch 0.2 cm from the edge.
- Place the front placket face down on the wrong side of the right front piece, inserting the left front piece between them (right side facing the placket). Fold back the left front piece and the placket, press the allowance towards the right front piece. Fold the placket onto the right front piece, fold the placket allowance inwards and press. Topstitch the placket to the front piece 0.2 cm from the edge.
- Fold the front neckline facings right sides together and stitch along the upper edge and the rounded section up to the mark. Trim allowances, clip curves. Turn the facing to the right side and press. Finish the buttonhole. Attach the outer facing to the front neckline, fold the allowance of the inner facing inwards and stitch into the seam.
- Finish the outer edge of the back neckline facing. Place the facing face down on the back and stitch the neckline and the inner part of the closure up to the mark. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked attachment line. Trim allowances, clip curves. Turn the facing to the wrong side and press.
- Stitch the shoulder seams, positioning them between the outer and inner facings. On the left side, the left front piece is positioned between the facings. Press allowances towards the back, finish edges. Turn pieces to the right side.
- Stitch the side seams, press allowances towards the back and finish edges.
- Finish the bottom edge of the garment and sleeves, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Sew on the button.
