Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: a concealed zipper; fusible interfacing; 3 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the garment bottom – 3.0 cm. Hem allowance for the sleeve bottom – 2.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical details).

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 2 pieces
    • Center upper front right – 1 piece
    • Center upper front left – 1 piece
    • Side upper front – 2 pieces
    • Lower front – 1 piece on fold
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Right facing – 1 piece
    • Left bottom facing – 1 piece
    • Back neckline facing - 2 pieces
    • Front neckline facing - 1 piece
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Right facing – 1 piece
    • Left bottom facing – 1 piece
    • Back neckline facing - 2 pieces
    • Front neckline facing - 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
  2. Stitch darts on back pieces, press allowances towards the center of the pieces.
  3. Finish the center back seam allowance separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom, press allowances open. Insert the concealed zipper.
  4. Stitch the princess seams of the upper front, press allowances towards the center, and finish the edges.
  5. Finish the upper edge of the left bottom facing. Place the facing and the upper left front piece right sides together and stitch the bottom edge and the lower corner of the front opening. Clip the center seam allowance of the facing, trim the corner. Turn the facing to the wrong side, straighten, and press. Finish the center edge of the left front piece.
  6. Finish the outer edge of the right facing. Place the facing and the upper right front piece right sides together and stitch the bottom edge, the front opening, and the neckline precisely to the center line. Clip the neckline allowance at the center line, trim the corners. Turn the facing to the wrong side, straighten, and press.
  7. Overlap the right front piece onto the left front piece, aligning the center lines. Stitch the left front piece to the facing allowance, and press the seam.
  8. Finish the upper edge of the lower front piece. Place the upper front piece onto the lower front piece, aligning the upper edge of the facing and the right facing with the upper edge of the lower piece, and stitch. Press the seam. Smooth out the front, secure the upper and lower parts at the side seams.
  9. Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and finish the edges.
  10. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press allowances open. Finish the outer edge. Place the facing and the garment right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Turn the facing to the wrong side, straighten, and press. Secure the facing to the main garment at the shoulder seams, center back seam, and front.
  11. Stitch the sleeve seam. Press allowances towards the back and finish the edges. Set sleeves into armholes, aligning notches, press allowances and finish the edges.
  12. Finish the bottom edge of the garment and sleeves, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  13. Sew buttons onto the right front piece.
