Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: hem allowance for the bottom of the garment and sleeve hem – 2 cm; other seams – 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details).

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
Place the Neckline Facing pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Start and end the stitching exactly at the marked attachment seam line. Clip the allowances at the curves. Turn the finished facing right side out and press.
Stitch the waist and shoulder darts on the Back, press them towards the center. Stitch the center back seam, press the allowances to the left side and overlock.
Fold and stitch the pleats on Inset 2. Stitch Inset 1 to Inset 2, press the allowances downwards and overlock. Run a line of long stitches along the upper edge of the Front and gather it. Stitch the inset to the Front, clipping into the corner, press the allowances towards the Front and overlock.
Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press the allowances towards the back and overlock.
Place the Placket pieces in pairs right sides together and stitch the outer edge. Turn right side out and press. Stitch the outer placket to the Front, press the allowances towards the placket. Turn under the raw edge of the inner placket and topstitch it into the attachment seam.
Stitch the upper layer of the Neckline Facing to the neckline, press the allowances towards the facing. Turn under the raw edge of the lower layer and topstitch it into the attachment seam of the upper layer.
Fold each Sleeve Decorative Tab lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch along the long and short edges. Turn right side out, trimming the allowances at the corners, straighten and press. Overlock the open short edge. Topstitch the tabs at the markings on the wrong side of the sleeves.
Stitch the sleeve seams, press towards the back and overlock. Set the sleeves into the armholes, press the allowances and overlock.
Press the lower edge of the garment twice to the wrong side by 1 cm and topstitch. Turn the sleeve hems twice by 1 cm, press and topstitch.
Make buttonholes on the right front placket and sew buttons on the left. Make buttonholes on the tabs and sew buttons onto the sleeves.
