  2. Stitch darts on the back and lower front pieces, press allowances towards the center of the pieces. Stitch the princess seams of the upper front part, press allowances towards the center and serge.
  3. Serge the center seam of the lower front part separately on each piece. Stitch the center seam from the top to the mark. Press seam allowances open, pressing the slit. Topstitch the integrated placket to the front.

  5. Along the upper edge of the pocket, stitch with a loosened thread and gather. Serge the side and bottom of the pocket, press to the wrong side. Finish the ends of the pocket placket (start and end stitching exactly at the marked attachment line). Attach the outer side of the placket to the pocket, press allowances towards the placket. Fold the inner side of the placket inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam. Place the pocket on the front according to the markings and topstitch.
  6. Stitch the upper and lower parts of the dress, press allowances upwards and serge.
  7. Serge the center back seam separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark downwards. Press seam allowances open, pressing the slit. Insert the zipper.
  8. Finish the ends of the neckline trim, turn the piece right side out, straighten, press. Stitch along the lower edge with a loosened thread and gather.
  9. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press allowances open, serge the outer edge. Place the dress with the facing right sides together, aligning the neckline edges, insert the trim between them, and stitch. Clip allowances at curves, turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Secure the facing to the shoulder seams and the zipper tape.
  10. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and serge. Stitch along the sleeve cap with a loosened thread and gather. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches. Press and serge allowances.
