CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for the dress bottom – 2.0 cm, hem allowance for the cuff bottom – 1.2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details).

• From main fabric:
  • Back - 2 pieces
  • Front - 1 piece on fold
  • Sleeve — 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Front neckline facing — 1 piece
  • Cuff – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Front neckline facing — 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to facing pieces.
2. Stitch waist and shoulder darts on the back, press allowances towards the center. Stitch bust darts on the front, press allowances upwards.
3. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press allowances open, pressing the zipper opening flat. Insert the zipper.
4. Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
5. Stitch shoulder seams of neckline facings, serge the outer edge. Place the dress and facing right sides together, aligning neckline edges, and stitch. Clip allowances at curves, turn facing to the wrong side and press. Attach facing to shoulder seams and zipper tape.
6. Stitch sleeve seam, press allowances and serge. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches. Press allowances and serge.
7. Serge side and bottom edges of the cuff, press to the wrong side, topstitch. Overlap the right side of the cuff over the left and secure. Attach cuff to the bottom edge of the sleeve, press allowances upwards and serge.
8. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
